Activate your site

After you have installed and tested your testing system, you must complete the items on the Site activation checklists identified below. The items are divided into the following categories:

  1. Software Installation—If you followed the procedures in Preparation tasks, Before the server scenario installation, Before the workgroup scenario installation, Before the stand-alone scenario installation , Before the exam delivery workstation installation, and Install the scenario and Install the software, these items should now be completed.
  2. Site Manager Setup—Instructions for these items are provided in the Configure Site Manager section.
  3. Certification
    1. An administrator at your site must take and pass a certification exam to become a Pearson VUE Certified Administrator. All Pearson VUE Authorized Centers must have at least one certified administrator on site whenever exams are scheduled. Refer to Chapter 2 in the Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center Policies and Procedures guide for more information.
    2. Use Registration Manager to schedule, Admissions Manager to admit and Delivery Manager to take your PVTCA or PVTCSelect_A exam as soon as the software is loaded at your site.

After you have completed these items, you must contact VUE Support Services to activate and authorize your site to deliver Pearson VUE exams.
