Restarting an exam on one workstation

An exam can be restarted only under certain circumstances. Typically, exams are only restarted after technical problems have made it impossible to recover a candidate's exam.

Follow these steps to restart an exam:

Stop the exam.

The Appointment Selection window appears. For more information, see Stopping an exam.

Right-click the exam in the Appointment Selection window, and then click Restart Appointment.

A message appears warning you that restarting this appointment will erase all result information.

Click Yes to proceed.

An Authorization window appears.

Follow the process in Obtaining an authorization code in Delivery Manager to obtain an authorization code.

After you apply the authorization code, a confirmation message appears stating that the exam will be restarted and that all previous exam result information will be erased.

Click Yes to close the message and proceed with restarting the exam.
