Canceling an exam appointment

This section provides information on canceling exams. Like rescheduling, the call center performs all registration cancellations. Information is provided here in case you will need to cancel exams at your test center in the future. It may also be necessary to reschedule a TDFT or test administrator assessment.

The following are some general policies about exam cancellations. Exam sponsors may have additional rules. See the client reference for more information.

  • Registrations can only be canceled for exams that are scheduled to be taken at your own test center. Although registrations for other test centers can be viewed (on the History tab), they cannot be canceled.

  • A registration cannot be canceled if the original appointment date and time have passed.

Follow these steps to cancel an exam appointment:

  1. Find the candidate's record.

  1. Click the History tab in the Customers screen, and locate the exam appointment the candidate wants to cancel.

If necessary, use the Show drop-down list to find the exam appointment.

  1. Select the exam appointment.

Detailed information about the registration is noted at the bottom of the window.

  1. Click Cancel Item.

The Cancel Item window lists information about the exam registration, including any discounts that are associated with it and the amount of the refund if it is canceled.

  1. Click Save to cancel the exam. When a confirmation message appears, click Yes.
