Tips for running TDFT's

When you have a large test center (more than 15 exam delivery workstations), you cannot register for all the exams on all the exam delivery workstations at once. The following tips will help you successfully register for and deliver the TDFT's on each of the delivery workstations.

  1. You must test all the admissions equipment (admissions camera, signature pad, and palm vein device, if applicable) with a TDFT prior to seating a candidate for a live exam. Make sure the admissions equipment have been enabled for your site before you run a TDFT. See Enable admissions equipment topic for details.
  2. Register for 5 exams at a time - one TDFT per exam delivery workstation.
  3. You may need to create multiple dummy candidate accounts if you have a large number of exam delivery workstations. The system does not allow the same candidate to register for the same exam at the same time. If you have multiple candidates, you can register them all for the same time.
  4. If you want to use a single candidate to book the exams, try booking the exam at different times. If you have 25 workstations you will need multiple candidates since there are not 25 slots in a day. You will be unable to book a single candidate for 25 time slots in a single day.
