Enable admissions equipment

Before you can test the admissions equipment, each type of equipment must be enabled for your site. The admissions equipment is enabled on the hub side by a VUE Support Specialist.

  1. Contact your local VUE Support Specialist to notify them that you have installed the admissions equipment and that you are ready to test the equipment. See Contacts.
  2. Ask the VSS technician to enable the admissions equipment for your site.

 

Admissions equipment installation is complete!

Now it is time to test the equipment with an actual exam. The previous testing only verified the connectivity of the equipment; now you must verify that the devices work for the admissions steps. Refer to Test the systems section of this guide. Have a VUE Support Services representative on the phone with you during testing to verify that the admissions and A/V equipment are working correctly. This is an activation requirement.
