Restarting the DIA server

Only try to restart the DIA server if you are told to do so by VSS or a DIA error message.

 

Use the following process to restart the DIA server:

  1. Click Services on the menu bar of either the Test Admissions Equipment application or Admissions Manager.

  2. Click Manage VUE Digital ID Authentication Server from the available options.

The Manage VUE Digital ID Authentication Server window appears and lists the current status of the DIA server. If there is a problem managing the DIA server, an error message appears instead. This message presents next steps to help you correct the problem.

If your site does not currently use the DIA process, you will not be able to access the Manage VUE Digital ID Authentication Server window.

  1. Follow the instructions in the Manage VUE Digital ID Authentication Server window closely.

These instructions help you complete all the necessary steps. The DIA server usually takes one to two minutes to restart.
