Reconfirm signatures match question
The "Reconfirm signatures match" question is the first step of the DIA process. It asks you to confirm that the candidate's signature for the rules agreement matched the signature on the ID(s) the candidate presented. The candidate might either physically sign the rules agreement, or you might capture the candidate's digital signature during the check-in process. The purpose of this step is to help determine whether the person in front of you is the candidate registered for the exam. Answering the "Reconfirm signatures match" question allows Pearson VUE to keep a record of your response for the DIA process.
This question applies to all ID policies, including the Global ID Policies, Former Standard ID Policies, and any policies specific to an exam sponsor. When you answer this question, you should also consider any secondary IDs, marriage licenses, or other supplemental information presented. If these documents were used to verify the candidate's name and signature during the manual ID check, they are part of your overall answer to this question.
The DIA Matrix 1 document will help guide you as you answer the "Reconfirm signatures match" question. Simply answer the questions in the document and follow the corresponding directions to determine your response. The DIA Matrix 1 is also available in the Resources application in the Connect portal.
