Substitute assistive personnel

If the assistive person who was originally scheduled for an exam becomes unavailable, the assistive personnel vendor may schedule a substitute. If this happens, the accommodations team will attempt to update the case with the new assistive person's name before the exam appointment. However, if this is not possible, the substitute assistive person’s ID and Attendance Record will not match the assistive person’s name that is listed in the accommodation case.

If the name listed in the case does not match the substitute assistive person who arrives for the appointment, contact the assistive personnel vendor (uExamS) directly at 1-866-761-8866, and confirm the new assistive person's name and assignment. Then, update the case to list the new assistive person's name, and continue to admit the candidate and assistive person.
