Rescheduling an exam that has a discount applied
In this example scenario, a candidate calls to reschedule an appointment that already has a discount applied. You open the History tab on the Customers screen in Registration Manager, locate the exam, and click Reschedule and Find New Appointment. The candidate asks you to locate a time on March 15, 2015. You find the time, click Schedule, and then click Save to reschedule.
However, the Validation Failed window notifies you that the discount can only be applied to the exam if the candidate takes the exam before March 1, 2015. Therefore, you should not reschedule the exam unless the candidate is willing to relinquish the discount and pay additional money for the exam.
To process the rescheduling, inform the candidate that he needs to take the exam before March 1, 2015 or the discount cannot be applied. If the candidate agrees to a date prior to March 1, 2015, follow the previously described procedure to reschedule for the new date. If the candidate cannot take the exam before March 1, 2015, cancel the appointment and create a new registration.
