Pearson VUE Testing System
A typical Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center configuration consists of an administration workstation and one or more exam delivery workstations connected to a local area network with access to shared storage either on a file server or the administration workstation. The Pearson VUE Testing System applications are installed on the administration and delivery workstations. These applications connect to the hub system, which is the computer that runs at Pearson VUE and manages the communication of data with the test center.
In addition to the information explained in this section, PVTC Selects may also be set up with Cloud Control Technology, which utilizes a cloud platform to host the Pearson VUE Testing System applications. For more information, see appendix D. |
The Pearson VUE Testing System is made up of six software applications that work together to manage exam registration and delivery. These applications are described in the next few sections.
