Adjust monitoring camera focus and zoom

The recording software, EZWatchPro, is already imaged and configured on the DVR and ready to start when you plug in the DVR. You may need someone to assist you with positioning and focusing the monitoring camera(s).

Adjust camera position

  1. Position the camera(s) so it covers the workstation(s) and attach it to the ceiling.

  2. Remove the plastic dome on the camera by twisting to the left and pulling it away from the base unit.
  3. Adjust the angle of the camera by tilting the plate forward or backward so that you can see the candidate’s face or the top of their head.

    Number 1 above is the plate.

The camera should not be positioned to see the back of the candidate's head.

Change the zoom width

You must ensure the zoom width is set as wide as possible.

  1. Loosen the Zoom width control screw by twisting it to the left.

    Number 2 above is the zoom width control.

  2. Slide the Zoom width control all the way to the right toward the W.
  3. To keep the changes, tighten the Zoom width control screw by twisting it to the right.

Adjust camera focus

  1. Loosen the camera Focus control screw by twisting it to the left.

    Number 3 above is the Focus control.

  2. Slide the entire Focus control sleeve right or left to adjust the focus for the camera.
  3. To keep the changes, tighten the Focus control screw by twisting it to the right.

Replace camera dome

Replace the plastic dome on the camera by placing it on the base unit and twisting to the right.
